Sofrito is a fresh, aromatic cooking base made from a blend of herbs and vegetables, traditionally blended together and used as the foundation for countless Caribbean dishes.
Our Sofrito is made from a blend of carefully selected herbs and vegetables, traditionally combined together in a stone mortar and pestle known as a pilón. Our products are mixed in a commercial grade blender to get the finest, well incorporated texture before being put through our freeze-dried process to preserve nutrition, and flavor, as well as vastly extending the shelf life of the Sofrito.
